Description Fallout 4 Def_Ui

This is a new package and a new version of the DEF_INV and DEF_HUD mods from Neanka (with permission from Neanka) with a new consolidated installer. These are currently the latest versions that Neanka released and are provided as they are. Please see the notes at the bottom regarding mod support.

Fallout 4 Def_Ui

DEF_HUD

The HUD, or Head's Up Display, refers to the main interface of the game during the adventure. HUD elements include meters, compass, dialogs and messages from HP, AP, Crit, XP and Enemy HP. This mod allows the personalization of all those elements. All elements can be moved, rotated and resized as desired. Some items also have customization options, such as hiding parts of the item (HP label on the HP meter, for example).

There is also an optional feature to show the waste components under the items when looting. This function requires the file of included waste tags or a similar file from your sorting mod (such as VIS). If you use the included waste tag file, any changes that modify the waste elements (weight, components, names, etc.) will be voided.

This mod will conflict with any other mod that modifies the interface, such as MyHUD or Pleasant UI, however, all the features provided by these mods can be duplicated (and then some) with DEF_HUD.

DEF_INV

DEF_INV modifies the interface for container, barter and pipboy inventory screens with numerous improvements. The container and barter screens have increased in size to fill the screen. All remaining features require a classification mod:

- Classification tags can be replaced with icons on all three screens.

- New tabs are available on container and barter screens to limit what is displayed by category based on labels.

- Additional tabs have been added to the Pipboy to move Notes and Holotapes to their own tabs based on tags.

- Pipboy elements can be rolled into a single entry according to the labels (example: all the keys are collected in a single Key Ring entry that can be expanded as needed).

Instructions:

Use Nexus Mod Manager to install this project.

Modifying Mods

Since most DEF_INV features require a classification mod, here are some suggestions for known classification mods that are compatible with DEF_INV:

Classification of Valdacil objects by Valdacil

Best article classification by mandatory

The best classification of Bhaal by SystemLordBhaal

Classification of articles in German by messiahgov

A realistic and weightless color classification Mod of Zenotep (Get configuration files of that mod)
